Help at hand if needed
Follicular tracking helps identify the most fertile time for you to try for a baby. It is useful for women who have regular cycles and have been trying to fall pregnant for several months without success, and women who have irregular cycles.
We recommend that if you have been trying to conceive for 12 months or more without getting pregnant that you book an appointment with a fertility consultant. Our appointment booking form is at the bottom of this page or call our friendly team on 02380 010 570.

A fertility check-up will assess your fertility and support your family planning.
What is your fertile window?
Your fertile window refers to the most fertile days in your menstrual cycle which give you the highest chance of conceiving. The most fertile days in your cycle are the days leading up to ovulation before the egg is released from the ovary. For this reason we recommend couples have regular sexual intercourse every couple of days throughout the fertile window.
What if you have irregular cycles?
If your cycles are irregular or your cycle length varies from month to month it may be difficult to calculate your ovulation date in which case follicular tracking may be useful.
When to seek help?
If you have been trying to conceive for 12 months or more and not been getting pregnant, we recommend booking an appointment with a fertility consultant.
