Rowland runs a regular Male infertility Clinic, which includes the investigation and management of men with oligozoospermia and azoospermia.

Rowland is a urologist sub-specialising in andrology and male genito-urethral surgery, which includes the investigation and management of male infertility. His NHS practise is based at UHS, but he also provides an in-reach service for rarer conditions at The Institute of Urology, UCLH, London. He provides a regional tertiary service in the Wessex region for conditions such as male infertility, urethral reconstruction, Peyronie’s disease and sexual dysfunction, as well as penile cancer and other rarer conditions.

He has served as secretary and Chairman of the Andrology section of BAUS, Wessex regional representative on the NHS England Urology Clinical Reference Group, and regularly speaks at educational meetings for urologists and allied professionals both in the UK and abroad.

At Complete Fertility in Southampton Rowland runs a regular Male infertility Clinic, which includes the investigation and management of men with oligozoospermia and azoospermia. He also performs Percutaneous sperm retrievals (PESA’s) under local anaesthetic/ sedation at Complete Fertility and microdissection-TESE’s at adjacent hospitals. Rowland is one of the UK’s most experienced micro-surgically trained urologists, performing over 30 surgical sperm retrievals and 50 vaso-vasostomies (vasectomy reversal) per year.
